s13 Rear Lower Control Arm Mounts

Hey i got into a drifting accident after HID (yes it was on the street...Iam stupid got it) and after fixing everything that need to be fix i encounter a huge problem. My lower control arm Mount (one not two) was completely bent. I thought i could work around it so i shaped it to whut seam right. I installed my parts my my wheel looked bent still. I plan to correct it but the mount is messed up bad! Any ideas? one idea i had was to cut off the old mount and then make another mount and weld it on the frame. Is that the way to go? if not then how?
