I have seen all other color s13 with carbon fiber hood but not alot of the red color with cf hood. Is this a bad combo or what

why search when you can ask people!

when i was little and asked my parents something, the first they'd tell me to do is look it up in the encyclopedia.

that got so ingrained in me that now i have a hard time asking anyone anything.
i just try to find out for myself.

those projector pop-up s13 head lights from the clearcorner's car are amazing! i want to do that to my car but they only install in-house and i cant drive from ontario,canada to california to get head lights installed!

cuz it has a fwd b16 swap and the lift in the back provides downforce when my vtec kicks in.......

yes i am kidding. It was originally put up like that for stb clearance with stock hood and left that way due to laziness and I threw away the normal bolts. I have yet to test the cf hood to see if it clears the bar sitting normal. Luckily i have seen no negative effects on cooling like some people claim.

for some reason honda guys always make people think that vtec is like a turbo!

if thats the case, ask them how many pounds of vtec they are running!

12-13 second ITR's are nuts with full na builds... there vtec kicks harder than some turb's. I appreciate a nice na car.

damn, now i wanna get a cf hood for my red s13....

i looked on ebay and only found like VIS cf hoods for s13 and they cost around 300$.... what other companies out there makes cf hoods for s13? any suggestions?

Vis hoods are great, quality is excellent. There a little heavier but safer than most carbon hoods on market, you can run these hoods with out hood pins. They have heavy ass fiberglass frames, but are sooo much lighter than a stock 240sx hood.

i dont know if i would run a cf hood without hood pins though, ive heard soo many stories about people not using hood pins and how it back fired on them!
