is it possible to mix a stage 3 clutch plate with a stock disk to smooth out the shifts, thanks.

Not enough pressure from the stock plate, I'd guess.

When it comes down to it, the pressure plate is the most important part of the system. It is what provides the clamping force to hold the torque. If you want stock feel but good clamping force, go with a heavy duty pressure plate and an organic disc clutch.

it doest have enough pressure to hold it. Not a good idea if the disk is stronger than the plate.

Well the stock disc is notoriously shitty, and compounding that problem with a heavy duty pressure plate will expedite the departure of that disc from this planet...
