Can A tranny form a SOHC S13 be used with a DOHC S14 engine??

yeah. just have to get a throwout bearing for the DOHC transmission

what about the sr20det? anything compatible with it?  the s13 sr20det..

You need an SR bellhousing to get the KA tranny to work (swap the bellhousings).  It'd be much easier just to get an SR with a tranny.
