s13 Tire/wheel clearence HELP! Larger wheel 17x9 up front.

I got some free tires,
245/40/17's dont really have the money to afford new tires for the front.
Wheels are 17x9's. 15+ offset.
Car is fully lowered on Tein HE's
I was planning on running a 225 width, but now I have these tires...soo dont know what to do!!!

Will these clear my coilovers? what do I have to do to make them clear.

did u recieve 4 tires or just 2? if so put the smaller ones in the front and put the big ones in the back....like maybe buy 2 front tires at 225 and use the 2 free ones at the back.....you can prolly pick up tires for cheap....like 50 bucks each but theyre gonna suck ass? haha im just saying....if u dont have a choice try to make one....if not i dont know any thing technical about fitting sorry

Tein HE with 245/40-17 Kumho MXs here....

On a 17X9, +25...

Clears, but BARELY. Maybe 2mm clearance, and that's with a little spring preload to move the lower perch up a 1/4" so it doesn't rub the "rim protector bead".

I'll bet with another 10mm or clearance, they'll bolt right on. Now, depending on how low you have it, it may rub when you turn...my car is not that low (2-2.5" drop over stock, maybe?)

18x9, +19mm with 245/40 cleared my HEs fine, so with +4mm more room you're fine.

Your issue will be fender clearance. I was looking into the 245/40 on a 17x9 +17 but there is nooo way that will fit with stock fenders and camber within the stock range. With rolled fenders and some more camber, maybe. I don't relaly know...I gave up on that size wheel for waht I want to do.

I got 245/40/17 up front on 8.5's at 33 offset. has about a cm clearence. I originaly bought 265's but they did not clear so I sold them for the 245's and the clear no problem with 33+, your 15+ will definetly clear, but there going to be sticking out past the fender about 25-30mm since mine stick out about 10mm
