sr gauge cluster question

hey you guys i have this red light that's turned on right next to the battery light on the jdm gauge cluster. the tiny picture shows like a pipe with steam on top of it. can you guys please tell me what does it mean? before, it didn't show up, it just started to happen. let me know thanks. btw this is on a sr20det motor too.

thanks dousan, but what i really want to know what does it mean, like why did it show up? btw it's on a sr20det motor to be more specific. i have a 3" downpipe, resonated 3" test pipe from projectnissan.com, and the rsr exmag.

It's supposed to represent an overheating catalyst.

I'm not exactly sure what triggers it, though. There's no temp probe down there, and you obviously have no cat.

Probably just too much hard driving.

Whatever is in that location on the OE cluster is what you should worry about. Obviously you don't have an EGT warning on a US spec car.

if i recall, if you are using the US harness to the JDM cluster, its still going to be the windshield washer fluid indicater.... mine always lights up when i corner hard cuz im low on fluid heheh

I just swapped those lil faces back to US becuase the smog guy bitched that i didnt have a "EBrake" light on the right side.
