i got a $150 gift card to best buy and i decided that i'll buy speakers for my car. i just don't know what brand or whatever is the best for this tiny ass size of a speaker. anyways, any recommendations for brands and whatnot?

i bought this car and inside there were these 4x6 in the front. they are pretty cool infinities that have the tweeter seperate from the woofer but still on a 4x6 mounting block.

well i have the clarion 4x6 plates, they sound really good for 4x6.

make your own mounting plate for 6.5s or 5.5s i forgot.. or any other size. Dont settle for 4x6s

i went Infinity 5000cs Component system in front. uses 5 1/4 woofer and seperate tweeter, can be had on ebay for under 100 now. Just modified the factory speaker mounts and used a baffle on it.

yeah, i have 6.5's in front and custom sub in back, screw the 4*6 sizes...

Alpine Type R speakers are some good sounding ones...

yeah basically if ur gonna go to best buy makes sure to look in the CLEARANCE section first. alot of my friends found some CHEAP speakers there and it was way discounted since it was an open item. but anyway, i think at bestbuy the Kenwoods and Pioneers are the way to go. and if u see some cheap component systems go that way. its way better
