My S15 95 240sx (pics!)

Yesterday I cleaned up my car(s) and decided to take some pics for you guys. This my 1995 240 with a S15 SR20DET 6 speed. The S15 was installed by LS Auto (www.lsauto.com)

240 mods:
RSR EXmag Exhaust
RSR Race Springs
KYB AGX shocks

And together car with my 240 is my 2000 V6 Mustang. Yes I know its only a v6 but I had it for about 5 years now and I have does some things to make it go faster. But I have messed around with a lot and broke more then once. Ford always has problems…. Anyway I still love my ford.

i hope so, i'm not trying to sound like a negative nancy, but youve got to.

besides i'm sure you depleated your funds with the swap, but when you got some extra dough, you really need to get a set of wider rims man. 7.5" aint cuttin it.
you know a nice set 9" or even 10" in the rear would looke super. You dont necessarily need to upgrade to coilovers either. you can stick with what your rocking now, and just get some decent camber plates.

As far as brakes go a couple ways. it looks like youre 4lug, so , you can get new pads, sslines and some good fluid, and be very pleased with the difference in feel from stock,
or you can try and do a brake swap. z32, q45, even maxima. whatever floats your boat. I dunno bout the others, but i know with the z32 swap, you could swap your hubs with the hubs of a n/a z32. and the rest is cake. The z32 swap is the most comman and has the most research, but there are cheaper ways to get you stopping faster.

the wing is stupid
the car is too high up... with an s15 you should have badass coilovers not gay AGX shocks with springs
you should def. send your headlights and corners off to get the clear treatment...
and get some badass wheels that have staggered stance

wow, a lil harsh? its your opinion on the wing, infact i agree.
where does it say that if you have a badass engine like an s15 sr, you have to rock out some crazy expensive coilovers? Coilovers would be better. But for daily driving, i bet his ass appreciates the setup he bought.
and his headlights and corners actually looks super clean... wtf are you talking about. i'd get rid of the eyelid though, or atleast paint it to match your car.

Well one thing is for sure- the wing will not be going anywhere. I like it so it will stay. I do not care for coilcovers. I like the drop with my springs. It not soo bad. Now for the wheels I do not have a choice since its 4 lug. I do want 5 lug but that cost a lot and I have spent lot on the engine all ready. So I do not plan for that any time soon. 4 lug really suck for choises of wheels. If I could I would get 18x9 Mustand saleen wheels for it but I need 5 lug. The engine cost $2500 and the install was $2000. As for the lights I will put Smoked head lights. For now it stay like this and to me it does not look ricey.

That thing looks horrible. Seriously. The wing would do better on a civic, so would the wheels, and those eyelids are the gheyest thing yet.

And 5lug hubs are expensive? For someone who just wasted the extra $2k on an S15 SR over an S14 SR you're being a little picky.

i personally like the wing, but it looks kinda out of place on a stock car...actually, i have a regular k's wing but mine looks alright, i think it has to do with your wheels...

S14 hubs are not expensive, so the 5 lug would be probably a couple hundred bucks for hubs and stock rotors

the drop is fine, but your wheels are butt...if you DONT go 5 lug, which i highly recommend, just pick up some 5zigen wheels or those 16x8's in that group buy going on w/ some +10 offsets...whatever you buy, try and get low offsets to fill your wheel wells please.

also, when money comes down the line, i'd invest in either some nice oem skirts and front lip or a kit like Final Version (sticking to cheaper stuff)

overall, it's decent, the engine is awesome for the price you got it for and at least it's fairly clean...good luck on your car

The JDM wing is nice. I think it's throwing people off though since the whole body is round except the wing. If you got a nice body kit, the ride height would look much better, and the wing would fit.

I agree about S15 SR. Why? It's not an offensive question, but I really want to know your reasoning over a blacktop SR.

Yea, your wing is mounted to far back, and looks out of place without any other aero. I have that wing, but with skirts, bumper, it looks more at home. Definitely get some wheels and lower supsension.

A front lip and sideskirts and rear valances would make a world of difference on the car overall.... I by no means think it looks hideous though, but the wing does kinda look outta place along with the rims.... I've never been a fan of red cars despite the fact I own a maroon s14 (barf).... Give him some time and about $2000 and I'm sure he'll fix the car right up....

I actually think the moroon color on my S14 is decent. I would prefer black but yeah. OT, I think the car overall looks pretty good. If the car is a daily driver, that ride hight isn't bad. I agree what was said above, in time it will look better. Nice job meng!

who's wing is mounted too far back? cuz from what i understand, the rear hole on the K's wing should line up with the furthest forward OEM hole, and a new hole needs to be drilled for the front...so that's how mine was done...

anyhow, i think it looks good on my car, i just need some sort of sideskirts or a whole body kit (later when i'm not broke and have everything else done right lol

Yes I know the wing is too far back. The guy who put it in did not do it right plus the paint is not all that. But whatever its only 1 inch more back, so what?! I did not like red at first but then it grew on me. But I hate the moroon color a lot more. Now I never knew how much people do not like the wheels. Man.... you guys make a BIG idea! Now I plan to get 5 lugs some day and get some cool nice big rims like 18X9. I would if I had 5 lug! But I'm doing my best with 4.... Now as for a body kit I plan some nice OEM side skirts and I have a front lip already. I just need to paint it. As for the suspension I just got it about one week ago. I like the drop and I do not want it any lower. I'm already hitting things! I like my suspension right now. I think coilover are over rated.

Now I pick a S15 because it was cheap when I got it and I wanted something rare. Plus its faster stock then any S14 black top or S13 red top.

Now this only the beginning! I do plan more things! I never said it was finished! Some of you guys need to chill out... man....

The truth is 99% of you would brag about that car to everyone you know, if you owned it. like everyone should already know, there isn't much variety in 4 lug wheels. Good offsets are hard to find. I don't think they look bad at all (except being sunk in).

if it does what he needs it to do (and very cost effectivly) then why is that bad?

I think people just get jealous of other people's cars, so they find things wrong with it, so they can feel like it's really not that much better than their's.

The red car has one mounted to far back...it hangs off the end of the bumper, he acknowledged it...(fix it)
