Anyone got good tips how to completely take double sided tape off body panels?

i got skirts and valances/pods, they have double sided tape on them, just trying to take it off to retape them and get a better stick

anyone got any good tips on how to remove it faster or what's the best way, or do i just have to deal with picking at it for the longest lol

yeah actually the skirts/valances are off, jus tryin to take it off from the inside, not too worried, worst that'll happen w/me is that i cut into the panels w/the razor blade, but i'll try it out, jus everytime i peel it off there's alway some little chunks that stay there

Tape off the area around the double sided tape area then use gasket remover, but be carefull cause it will mess up your paint. that should make getting the tape off easier. then use Adhesive remover to get it down to the bare paint . there are ones that won't mess up your paint

3M makes a sticker remover that works really well. I used it when I took off my badges. It took a while to get all the glue off but it didnt mess up my paint at all. I got it a auto zone for like 5 bucks.

u can also go to walmart and in the auto section with all those paint and sandpaper look around for a ADHESIVE something remover. it comes in a can and removes adhesive tape/double side tape without harming paint. if it does harm the paint, sue the company cuz on the bottle is says it doesnt harm paint. costs like 3 bucks
