I heard that early model 180sx came with 4WS. Is this true and if so did the american 240sx every have that feature?

4 wheel steering was known as SUPER-HICAS by Nissan.  Yes it was available on 91-94 model 240's.  I believe it was also available on the 180's in japan, but not sure what model years.

its great for most driving but yes if you want total control in a drif tyou need to do away with it by electronically (and sometimes also mechanically) disabling it. tomei makes a line of products designes specifically to disable HICAS
