SR Throttle cable not lining up

on my 90 240sx the cable lined up with the sr motor using the jdm bracket. Now that i totaled that one, i got a 91 and the throttle cable is not lining up for some reason. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Make your own extension bracket.

Bend the gas pedal to allow for more slack on the motor side. Make sure that there is no stress on the TB when the car is floored or you will break it and send screws into your manifold / engine.

i would just bend the bracket that holds the throtle cable....you probably dont' want to mess with bending your pedal. if you want i can send you pictures if you email me. [email protected]

seems like the gas pedal would be pretty hard to bend..

i had the same problem when i put mine in. with the SR bracket the throttle cable was close but wouldn't reach the TB. so i put on the bracket from the KA and with a little bending it fit perfect
