so ive found an s13 shell!

so ive been waitin for ever and really wanted an s14 (kouki) but after a while and due to the price tag the older model really started to appeal to me, with the s13 frontend on it it looks so much more unique then anything around here.

so last sat me and some freinds are driving out in teh country to go play some paintball and out in one guys yard i see my s13, now i havent been up to talk to him yet but the car was not parked in the driveway but on the side of the house, with the hood popped open a lil and faded black paint.. now if i inspect teh car and lets say theres no rust and windows are good but the engine doesent run, how much should i expect to pay? hopefully he will wanna just get rid of it and maybe let me haul it off.... so then i can start peicing together my dream car. what are your thoughts on this approach to building one? and what should i look for that may cause me a headache down the road.... engine swappin is no prob, done it many times on hondas and acuras but this will b my first nissan. anything i should look out for let me know

you know that S13 doesn't mean silvia right? Flip-em-up headlights are an S13 front end, along with the Silvia front. Both are S13 fronts. It's just a chassis code.

If the hood was popped open, then the guy was probably workin on it, hence wouldn't want to sell it. But if he does wanna sell it then good for you I guess.
