Clutch Problem
Okay so now I just finished my sr swap, havent driven it yet because I'm stuck with this problem. While prepping the motor I installed an ACT clutch with new TOB and just used the old pilot bearing. Thing is, me and my friend were bleeding my clutch, getting ready to drive the car. While he tighted the leak nut on the SC, I pumped the clutch pedal. We did this bleeding procedure for about 2 minutes. Pedal got a lil more firm, but then all of a sudden while i was pumping the pedal, the pedal hit the floor! There is no more pressure. Feelslike the pedal is loose. When I tried to push the pedal all the way down it seems like its slipping on something. Now I don't think i installed the clutch wrong or the TOB wrong. Maybe my SC or MC is bad? I bought a new MC because before the bleeding procedure, everytime i pressed the pedal down it would feel "rough". Felt like there was something grinding inside, a sandle gritty feeling. Haven't replaced the MC yet just wanted to know your guys' thoughts. Thanks.

sorry it felt sandy not sandle
![]() Forgot to add something, before bleeding, i took the stock dampner system off and just monkey bending the hardline to the SC. I doubt this could of caused anything. |

well the SC is not extending anymore as there is no pressure in the pedal, the pedal just flops up and down...really loose. But before this problem I tested the SC on my SR tranny and it pushed the fork back and forth. Not sure the length of the push but it pushed it. Yea thats what im thinking too, maybe the MC went out. I dont know how this could of just went bad after my swap. Maybe i did something wrong? Its a 97 240sx. Has anyone has this problem before?
