heh.. this was part of a project i did awhile ago.. here are some rough render of my 240... no realistic lighting implemented. They are alittle dark. It's not traditional art however.

bullshit I did before I even had a car... come to think of it, the rims i drew on that SOHC gray coupe are acctually the GAB SPORT, and I didnt know about them back then, I just figured it would give the driver more character if they were red

But anyway, the good shit is on my deviant art page, check my signature.

I used maya. There's several different software packages to choose from. Most of them offer a free learning version as a demo. There are TONS of sites now that offer free traning and the various software packages like 3dbuzz.com and 3d-palace.com. Lots of video tutorials. Hope this help alittle.

What version of maya did you use? I was using maya for 2 1/2 years but ive made nothing nearly as good as that. What is it made out of polygons or nurbs?
