interchangeable bumpers

I was wondering if the older bumpers from the 240SX S13 can be replaced with the newer ones without modding them or anything.

You just need to make sure you have the little fender pieces as well, but they do interchange, yes.

What "little fender pieces" do you speak of?

I don't know what they are called, the attach on the front bottom of the fender to make the 91-94 bumper blend with the fender. If you got a side shot of the newer bumper, it would be more apparent. the pignose bumper doesn't have any fender pieces. Sorry for my lack of "correct termonology"

Since we are in the same topic. Can zenki and kouki bumpers be exchanged without that much custom work? They look like they should but on aftermarket ones they look like they do fit.

Oh, I am not killing you for the lack of proper nomenclature, I am asking because I have a 92 bumper in my garage waiting on my 89 and my understanding was that I didn't need anything special and now I need to know what I need.

Zetec and Philip: everything bolts up.... but if you want it to look RIGHT, you should pick up the side valences that go along with the front bumper under the front sidemarkers.

M0rex: if your talking about s14's and the front bumper, i believe they dont interchange because of the different headlights... but i could be wrong...

^^^ Thank you for clarification and (havine been a previous S14 owner) you are right on your second point, the whole front is different, hood, fenders and bumper, all must change
