SR rough idle, won't rev past 1500..timing???

ok here is the problem, my s13 sr has a real rough idle, and won't rev past 1500rpm, any ideas???

for some reason your car is in limp mode

May be your MAF is fried, you can pull the MAF and with some non petroleum based electric parts cleaner clean up the sensor then reaatch and try again...I would get the codes pulled on your car as well...
most likely MAF is gone

MAF. My SR20 sentra wouldn't rev past 2500 and I had no idea why. I paid the Nissan dealership $135 to reconnect a loose wire in the MAF harness!

MAFS would cause it to cut off at 2500. Check your CAS.
