It doesn't make most sr's studder or anything. It makes us run a little rich but besides that nobody really has problems with them.

HKS - had no leaks, sounded like shit.

Blitz - leaks under decel, makes my car shoot 3 foot flames at 1500RPM's. Sometimes leaks at Idle when I go for long drives.

Basically the HKS was way better, but I hated the way it sounded and traded for this Blitz that leaks. Both have been run open atmosphere.

Cars that I've driven w/ recirc BOV's seem to have slightly better response.

Car performs the same w/ both, boosts the same, SR has been running for over 3 years strong.

I had the impression that the fireballs would damage your piping/exhaust.

are the stock recircs the only option we'd have if we wanna run that way?

It makes the piping look sexy. Burnt ass tips you know. My type-s leaks under decel but since the adjustment screw is stripped....i'm stuck with flames. I wish i had a ssqv though. I like the whistle as much as a type-s and the pull type valve is very atrractive now.

if your running a standalone computer or some type of piggyback computer you can make it so the car doesn't run rich, correct?

flames

ok,
#1: flames are cool
#2: loud noises are almost as cool as flames
#3: the only "problem" is running a little rich, which does kinda suck b/c gas is friggin spensive.
btw i'm running a blitz bov and yes they do leak on decel.

ive ran the hks super blow off... then the ssq, then the arc, then the Sard r2d2.
the sard is my super fave...perfect sound (for my taste) doesnt leak, barely any backfire.. just mini pops... and i dont have a cat neither...and my idle is perfect at 850 with no needle bobbing...

I recirced my GReddy Type-S last weekend, and let me say it's one of the most satisfying things i've done. The car feels like a normal car now... The only downside (if you even consider it a downside) is that you don't hear the BOV as much... The car runs so much smoother now though, I'm lovin it.

i don't think he's putting it ON the TB, however if you relocate your MAF to somewhere in the IC piping after the turbo, you'll have whats called a "blow-thru" MAF setup. this is supposed to ameliorate the issues of atmospheric venting because only what passes through the MAF actually goes into the engine. as opposed to blowing it off after its been metered by the sensor, which will send incorrect data to the ecu.
