KA Problems starting

So i've been working on my 240 today, replaced the battery and and spark plugs and wires. I noticed that my radiator has a big crack on the top of it and needs replaced. Would this cause the car to have a problem starting? Because when i get in the car to start it, it doesn't do much, just cranks, and when i press the accelerator down for a sec while cranking it will start up pretty fine, but after heating up with the cracked radiator it idels funny. I'm guessing that the radiator is throwing off pressure in my engine making it harder to start? Is this true?? And if not, when should i clean out to help the car start better?? Clearning the throttle body? I really don't have much experience at all with nissans, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
