ive done a search and read fsm for valve lash, and have yet to find what im looking for. im sure there are some machinists out there that can answer my question...

basically im looking for valve lash, the FSM has a spec for balancing shim valve with bucket valve, but no initial valve stem height(valve seat height to be technical) when seated. im doing replacing valve seats as well as valves, and any other info other than that given in the FSM would be much appreciated.

p.s. anybody undercut sr20det valves and survive? i know ur not supposed to do it to sodium filled valves, but was thinking of extending factory undercut on the intake side.
