weird popup headlight problem

Just put front end back together and botled everythign snug. My popup headlights go up but not down, the motor makes weird noises on both headlights. I dont think its a connection because i triplechecked everything, relays are fine (replaced them) and ground looks to be perfect

anyone care to take a guess what my problem is here?

Welcome to the club! Both my friend and I have the same problem. All fuses and relays seem to be fine. My motors work because they do go up. They used to work perfectly fine too.... I've even replaced the headlight stalk thing... If you ever figure it out, be sure to let me know ([email protected])

check the headlight controller fuse in the fuse block in the drivers side foot well. should be the row furthest from you, a 5 amp fuse.

thats how the fuse works, at least in both my 92's. Cheap Sleepy eye kit, also the headlights dont move when you turn them on, but when you flip the bright switch they go up anyway. Strange phenomena. The headlights have like 3 switches in the interior alone, headlights, brights, and the flip up button. they have a mind of their own.
