KA Those with S13 Heads on S14 Blocks

My engine is almost complete but the engine builder is having trouble w/ the lower tensioner. He has both an OEM "upgraded" version and an aftermarket, both are not "fitting right." He says he can make it work, anyone else have such issues? (The engine shop is the best in Tampa.)

Also, please confirm these are the other issues I'll be facing:

1. Need S13 Front Cover
2. 1 bolt will not line up (Ace states it's not important)
3. My S14 Valve Cover will not work (different size threads and placement of the bolts)(Polished 95 valve cover for sale then)
4. I'm planning on keeping my S14 distib.

Let me know, thanks!

Jesse

Correct, you'll need the S13 upper timing cover and valve cover. One of the rearward cover bolts won't line up, just plug it.

There shouldn't be any other issues, the tensioner lines right up on either one from what I've seen.
