Yesterday I have decided to make sound clip of my RS*R Exmag. Some never hear an Exmag before and may think it’s too quite. Well it is to some point. But when you open your car up, its sounds great.

The only sound clip I hear from an Exmag was from Halo’s sound clip, which from that I decided to buy one. The reason I got one is that it was not that loud, it did not look like a coffee can exhaust, it looks like stock and it has a race sound to it. In my option I think most 4 cylinders car never sound good. Mostly I hear loud farting sounds from 4 in my area.

I’m mostly a Mustang guy who loves the sound from a V8.

I do have a Mustang but it’s a V6.

But I made it sound close to a V8.

Anyways my clip comes from a S14 with a S15 engine with some mods with a 3” inch down pipe, a cat on it and 3” inch mid pipe. Enjoy!

its alot quiter than my gt-2 (i had similar thread with my clip too, but i dont think the mic on camera is any good). well what did i expect ? haha. welcome to exmag family

wow... it's even more quiet then i thought it would be. i wonder how it sounds on a ka. the sound kind of reminds me of my gf's rx7 n/a. i think she has a walker dynomax on her car. its quiet, but aggressive.

It's pretty quiet on the KA as well. The exmag on my car (now N/A) was as quiet as it was turbo with the n1 duals.
I'm now running the exmag with Greddy downpipe and 3" cat on an N/A KA motor, it's louder, but stays very deep. It's nice and quiet at cruising speeds and city driving too, which is perfect. But it gets pretty loud when you get at high rpm's..

hmm. I have the rsr exmag on my SR also, with 3''dp & 3''straight pipe and mine sounds a bit louder then that clip, you can hear me from up the street at wot.. but maybe its just the camera. but yes it does have a very racey sound to it.
