Are automatic transmissions between s13's and S14's interchangeable?

I believe the plugs *may* be different on the harness, but it does bolt in the same. So there's 50% of your answer.

it would, but I don't really want that big of a project right now, I just need to get this car on the road so I can get my corolla off the streets and into the fab shop.

And as far as searching went for me, I found a shitload of info on 5 speed swaps but nobody trying to change out auto's for auto's.

I once gave away an S14 auto trans...and the guy wanted to use it in his son's S13...it was a no go.

It's electronically controlled, and they are apparently quite different.
