Drift, Race, Show or just Transpo?

Ok, thought I would see what's everyones purpose is on here on what you plan to do with your s13 s14 or s15, (s15 riiight).... Like if you want to be a real drifter for competition events or just want to be good around your neighborhood in front of a few homies? Some have some nice cars that are show quality so I don't think many are tearing it up at their local mountain! Or some buy Ebay parts that will work and some have super overseas long lost mystical jdm part that will cost fat cash!!, is that for show or is that part really going to make a difference for most people's skill ability to be able to determine anyways? for example your car is bone stock but you spent $500.00 plus shipping on a strutbar from japan that came out of a concept nismo vehicle that was never driven!

I've only had my s14 for about 5 months but I kinda want a semi show car but drift ready if I need to with all the parts you need for drifting, but some of the name brand stuff I can pass on but if I ever got rich I'm sure for fun I would get all the top stuff deep in the vaults of Nismo's basement!!. As you all know it's not easy to find these cars in the first place, so im not eager to hit some trees and buy ductape no time soon.

My goal is to have the car mainly as a friday-sunday car to take to shows but also cruising and events. I like to have power and style got to have them both.

Drift, track and show. I used to drive it daily but it attracts thieves. I only drive it during weekends now though and go to a nearby small canyon. It has some battle scars and duct tape

usually those people who drift alot either try to keep there car clean, or they drift less and stylize the car more. If you're into show, this is not the car for you, you could spend $$$ on parts and no one would even notice the difference. Such as your headlamps, who would know or care about them. they are just lights. just think about your ending goal for your car, and the most comfortable and least stressful way of getting there.

drift...i spent all my money dropping in an engine and getting suspension and other parts non-appearance related...the furthest i've gone for looks is getting 7 spokes that i got after trading my impuls for the intercooler...other than that it all go. show cars are a waste. you gotta drive that shit. thats what theyre there for...

I guess I want a mainly stock looking car that's got a nice clean body, and rims, that's track ready for drift or grip also, I like to canyon run. I’m shooting for around 225 rwhp on a KA or SR (doesn’t matter to me anymore) with a really good all around suspension setup, nice rims, and a simple new black paint job. I have no real aspirations of being a drifter/racer/ricer I just want a fun to drive 240 that I can go to the track with and have a good time. So really I want it all except show. Oh, and I could care less about drag racing my car, or any car for that matter.

Drift. Making it look nice is cool, but im realistic. Im bound to crash sometimes, and i've already hit a few things (boulders, curbs). I figure, y make my car look nice when im still learning the ropes? MAYBE when i get a little better, i'll devote some cash into looks, but as for now, straight drift in my daily driver. And im a cheap ass.

I use my 240sx as a transport for Diplomatic Rufugees. I can drive it to any country cause it's got mad drift skills yo'. I just hit the beach doin about 130mph and then crank the wheel and pull the E-brake, slide right over the water to the next country. It's got some mods done too, so I go Show with it every now and then. The rocket launchers in the pop-up lights are awesome. No carpet queen with strobe lights is gonna beat me and my HED headlights (High Explosive Discharge). I parked next to Dousan at the last show, Bad idea. His 5000 watt stereo system blew my bulletproof windows out. Asshole, I'll get you for that!

versatility. good cornering, straight line, and high speed ability all while looking as clean as hell (preferably stock).

175mph eventually... at least.

My car is mainly a street car, occasionally track. No drifting. All OEM aero clean look. However I like keeping things super clean so rarely will you see it without a fresh coat of wax...

why is your car gutted with no sound deadening? is it to look more hardcore or does it serve a function purpose such as drifting faster?...
