This has been bugging me for the longest time.  does anyone know what the
stock stereo system is in a 95 240sx Le (Se for the states)? I got a couple Clarion units int the back and I'm wondering if they're stock or the previous owner actually did something decent to the car b4 passing it on.

Was the CD player a Bose or just a Nissan brand?

The stock speakers are cheap Clarion units, all 6.5".

The stock headunits all had Nissan badged on them, but I wouldn't be suprised if they were actually manufactured by some other company.

I believe only the se in 95  had the speakers in the supports around the windshield but I dunno.. I think that’s what makes the se different from the non .. that and the cd player

you mean tweeters in the A-pillars?? The SE and LE models should have that if they have the sound system options (like the CD player)

Ya, my headunit is blank... no tag no nothing, which make me think standard nissan.  oh well... just more to take care of.

The head unit is made by Panasonic.
I know this because when I replaced my stock system I saw a Panasonic stick on the head unit. I still have it with me, but I doubt anyone would really want it.
