Official Holiday Tree and Decorations Thread

Yes, I said Holiday Tree. I know the decorated evergreen is traditionally a Christmas thing, but I am not one to leave people out because we don't share a religion.

So here's ours. It's a Frasier Fir, about 8 1/2 to 9 feet tall. It's not decorated yet and it needs a little trimming. We'll work on that later. I also just got done hanging 1500 Blue lights, in icicle form, on the front of our house. Happy Holidays Zilvia!!!

i work at a christmas tree farm....so i get to deal with picky customers all day. Nice fraser fir u got there thatguy....just curiouse how much did u pay if u dont mind me askin? We sell 8.5 foot frasers for about 65-70 dollars.

They aren't grown locally, so I had to pay "Import" fees. Like it's a SR or something.
HAHAHAHA

I paid $85 for it and the gentleman at the farm delivered it and help me set it in the stand. It's more then I would usually pay for a tree, but my wife and I decided it was worth it. It's out first Christmas in our new house, and we are hosting it for both our immediate families and friends. Everyone is coming in from out of state, and we want everything to be perfect (or at least fairly close to perfect )

Well, since no one else is posting any holiday pics, I'll just keep adding mine.

Here I am adding the finishing touch to the tree. This gives you an idea of how tall it is.

As usual, my TV is set to Boomerang. Classic Cartoons ROCK!

And here is the tree all lit up. 300, dual-filament, red and green lights. Each light is both green and red, one color on top, the other color on bottom.

That's good stuff! I set up a small tree in my office at work with the same kind of lights. As for quality, just refer to the link I posted earlier

Armenians celebrate Christmas on January 6th and we usually dont setup till a week before traditional Christmas. Dont worry Barry..i'll get some pics in next month. But for now we can pretend this is my living room

I'll be going to get my CHRISTMAS tree in about an hour or so. Yeah, i know....its so late! I'll post pics later on tonight when its all decorated.

and fwiw, whether you believe Christmas is about Jesus' birth or Santa Claus and presents, its still Christmas. Thats what it says on everybody's calendar. Not trying to start an argument though!!! I just get annoyed with everything having to be soooo PC nowadays. Anywho, carry on and have a Merry Christmas everybody!
