im getting a code 34 and 32, mostly concerned with the 34, just want to know what could cause the knock detonation sensor to go off, i'm sure my egr is fine, engine stalls/struggles when i push up against the diaphragm

I am not familiar with 240's enough to know what the codes are so if you dont might what are the codes your ecu is sending, not just the number.

To test if your knock sensor is working correctly take a punch and hit it against the block woody wood peckers style, while your doing this have a friend look at the timing mark on your hamonic balancer with a timing light.

If its working properly the timing should be retared.
