bumper support difference Sohc and dohc

i was wondering if anyone knew if the sohc and dohc bumper supports were the same. How much different are they if they are different at all?

the reason i ask is because i have a Silvia face with no bumper support. I was told a sohc bumper support would work but i would have to modify the hole where it bolts on to the frame. Now, i can get a dohc bumper support but im not sure how much different it is. If anyone can help me out, i would greatly appreciate it.

I did a little searching and couldn't find anything related to my topic so i guess this should be fairly fresh =)
