s14 bad fuel smell

last week I drove from norcal to vegas and when I was in vegas I started to notice a slight gas smell. The smell is still there but its alot stronger. My gas milage hasnt changed and performance feels to be the same. I can not find any leaks anywhere. the only mods to the stock motor is a header and a straight pipe.I take pretty good care of the motor as in like keeping the fluids, plugs and filters clean. any ideas of things to check out? thanks !

I rthink he means the top tank cover in the trunk. Pull the carpet back and you'll find it. Also you say you've checked you fuel lines. Well did you check the one's on the top of the intake manifold going to the injectors? Start the car up and check for dripping. I found mine just the other day when I ran the air vents and could smell fuel really bad. Turns out to be that little 4" hose on top the manifold. 59 cents later it was fixed.
