SR SR w/AC overheating...kinda

ok...i recently installed A/C in my car ( yea so wut i lose a bit of power....so the fuk wut its hot here in texas!! its a black fast back!! lots of glass!! extra heat!!) anyway.....after installing it...it works!!! as i drive for about 20min with it on the temp gauge starts to go up to the last line before the bold line and sits there...but i dont let it stay on to do that anymore. my question is how can i prevent this from happening??

im running a stanza fan (dual fan) and the clutch fan with stock rad filled with a whole bottle of water wetter and water. do you think adding antifreze would help?? do i need a larger capacity rad??
i have trimmed the fan housing to get it closer to the rad.
this was never a problem before i added AC.

It should run the coolest with just water. That is besides the point. The point is, you are using a stock radiator. I'm assuming you are using stock KA rad. Ditch that and get a koyo and bleed that system really well. All your problems will be solved.

The stock clutch fan likes a shroud to effectively pull air through the radiator. So yank the stanza fans and go back to stock shroud and see if it improves.

Hey Mike do you have the link to that chicks page in your avatar? i used to have it saved and it would strip when you moved the mouse over her. It rocked.

P.S. Not trying to thread jack but those knockers are worth it.

..never had the fan shroud..i had a motor set not a clip.

but a bit of antifreeze seemed to help... it took longer for the car to heat up. perhaps i should add more?? i put about a little over a liter. how bout a Volvo radiator?? its pretty thick. like from late 80s early 90s that were turbo?? not quite ready for a koyo yet. and i have seen a volvo rad done b4..i believe
