Anyone have experience with this tire? If you do what are some good and bad characteristics and what do you use them for(i.e. road, track, autocross, drift...)

I had some kdw v1 and they were great tires. Especially in rain.

Did you use them for any track events or were they just street tires?

They saw track but they were my fronts. I had comp ta drag radials for rears.

besides BREAKING DA BANK, the wheels are alright.

good for grip, decent treadwear, and aggressive tread design. much better, cheaper options IMO.

What tire do you recommend that has the same or better wet and dry traction at a lower cost?

srt-4 has kdw-2. For a 200+ hp the srt-4 has and a 205 size that thing grips pretty good.

it's not a dedicated performance tire- it's for those that drive their car in the rain and dry but want some performance mixed in.

If u want performance, nothing will ever beat the Azenis Sports for the cost. I haven't had issues with it them in the wet, but others say it sucks in the rain. I haven't pushed the car at all in the wet, though.

With 300 treadwear its best for street use and some fun. Azenis is 200 and i dont have the money to swap out tires every year and half or so.
