So, it's finally done. Anakin is Vader, etc, etc.... Any other loser go to the premier showing?

lol, I'm not a geek (well, not too much), but some of these people, whoa. There were people dueling with fake light sabers. Anyway. Thoughts on the movie, complaints, observations, etc. I think it was awsome, They really tied in alot of stuff between the films, it makes a nice transition.

Yeah, there were large collections of 35+ year old virgins, dressed like Jedis and Storm Troopers and shit, waiting around outside the theaters since sunday or so... Episode 3: Revenge of the Nerds

Saw it at midnight last night, good movie. And mine was a lot of younger people, instead of old virgins, I got the HS kids.

Super dorks there though. Guys talking about how they built there own fake light saber.

BEST THING TO SEE: White guy, paint him self black and dress up as Lando, jerry-curl wig included.

Mellenium Falcon is in the movie, you can see it, i forgot where.

Somethings that i thought was kinda weird was that it went from nice looking ships, to the classic ones just over time in the movie hahaha was dumb. I can understand how its going from that to A New Hope, but i dunno thats just me. Also how pademe died, what a selfish slut. She has kids and has no will to live WTF? When the babies pop out its just bam this is one is luke, shazaamm this one is leah.

Old tapes and DVDs? That's just pedestrian, dude. You ain't a real Star Wars A/V geek unless you've the original-original trilogy on LaserDisc. DVD transfers of the LDs are OK, as long as you didn't pay for 'em. And you get extra points if you have the JDM-only LD of the theatrical cut of Ep. 1.

I'm just glad I bought the LDs years ago when they were new. For a while you could get them dirt cheap on eBay, then when people found out the DVDs were altered (again) the prices shot back up. If you find good-to-excellent condition copies for less than $100, you're lucky and/or good.

Anyway, the crowd here last night was mostly well-adjusted. About 1300 people, maybe 50 with toy lightsabers, about a dozen in Jedi robes, two dudes with clone trooper helmets and one dork who didn't even bother to shave his head before putting on his Darth Maul makeup.

Saw a full storm trooper in my area, theatre sold out, older virgins for the most part...haha...

i really did not think the movie was that well done. The part where Padme died was pretty bad, and then in tandem, Vader pulls a Frankenstein and takes 2 steps and puts up his arms saying "noOOoOooOo". So gay. The jedi also died waaaay to easily.

I also think there needs to be a 3.5 because now from 3-4 there is like a 20yr time span. wtf is up with that....
no i am not a nerd hahaha...but it is supposed to be entertaining, and i did not find it was that entertaining at all...

^^^ Yeah, and some of us are such sociopaths that they will wait on either a pirated copy from a coworker or 3 weeks to go see it at a matinee on a sunday afternoon, whichever happens first

See I refuse to see the new ones (Episode 1,2,3) because its not the same they don't have good ol' harrison ford plus episode(s) 1,2,3 are way more futuristic looking than the other ones and that just doesn't work in my mind. I love the old ones and I am just going to leave it at that.

i enjoyed it... lucus did a much better with this one, than 1 and 2. could have streached this one out into more of the others and cut out that junk in 1 and 2. chuckled a little when darth said noooo at the end. maybe better actors where needed as in 4 5 and 6.
