I have espelir asd springs and they give the best drop for a spring I've ever seen. Look at my sig or cardomain site for more pictures. I would just get coilovers to begin with though.

nice lip on your car on cardomain profile. Looks like it was bought brand new, or just painted black. I love those lips, never should have sold the one off my parts car....

dropping that low on springs will hinder your front shock travel drastically. There are some ways around this with some modifications, but it's best to just go ahead and step up to coilovers.

Teins springs will only give you a drop of about 1.5 inch. if you really care about the gap...then dont get teins springs.
The eibach sportlines looks pretty good...i was about to get that too, but then a friends suggested Tein coilovers which i am still thinking. Kinda expensive, but they are adjustable, so you could drop your car to any desired height. And remember, coilovers are 1 piece...instead of the combinations of springs and shocks. I dont know which will last longer...but i think that one piece is always better than two. |

I've got Espelir springs all around, and i can only insert 2fingers into my wheel well. To truely lower the car, you'll need shocks also, or just get coilovers. MR coilovers Rock!

sprint/intrax/aerospeed (cant believe i can acually name them) would fix your problem... ... it actually might give you more problems, but it would fix your "gap problem"...shit, if you want drop, bag it...doesnt sound like you care about the real advantages of dropping a car anyways...good luck

I didn't say anything because you asked what springs will drop your car that low. Common sense, one of the things you're apparently missing, would tell you that there's nothing short of removing the springs altogether that will get your car that low unless you're running something that's adjustable and allows for significant lowering.
Plus your reasoning behind lowering your car is probably based on how cool it looks, you'll have horrible bumpsteer unless you change everything else, you'll scrape on every piece of pinestraw on the road, and the car will ride like ass. But, it'd be cool since you drive a 180 and are so JDM. It's people like you that make me question Darwin's theories.

Anyways, I think that you should just save up for coilovers. It'll be worth your money. With a drop that low, at times, you'll just be so tired of it (because you'll be hitting so many things, if you're not careful). Then, with coilovers, you could raise them anytime. You'd have to stick w/ the springs if you had them, and 'most likely' everyone likes to upgrade to coilovers sometime. The ride feels alot better too.

how i lack common sense you say. well maybe if you read the question correctly i stated what spring will give my car a nice drop or slam look. apparently you don't read and jump to conclusions that's the problem with you. instead of actually helping others you enjoy putting down others.
maybe back then you had problems and people would ridicule over you. but thats over now it's ok man i don't hate you, but to me you will always be my carbon fiber bitch hahhahahahah. meaning of a carbon fiber bitch: a person who seem to know about the import scene and talks out of his ass also known as a hater. in anycase, a reason of actually having the car that low is for center gravity for high speed cornering. not only that but its good for drifting, one because its slammed the wheels in the back toe's in causing better traction but there's more to it anyways in drift set up not just that. |

From what i understand you can slam the shiet out of them, without worrying about it much, will give you that wheel tuck that your looking for, good spring rates too 9KG front 7kg back, 6 or 8 way adjustable dampening, fergot. Retail around $1600, If your interested Bro i know a shop down here in So calli that has em in stock for S13

I meant either getting camber plates that will raise the position of the top spring perch some or getting koni inserts in the front and dropping them farther than suggested by drilling out the bottom of the strut and welding some more tubing down there, the lowering the bottom spring perch. Either way will get your front suspension lower without sacrificing suspension travel. And i've never seen anyone do either of these, althogh I've looked into it myself and know it would work. Just takes some ingenuity. btw no problem with cutting springs. all depends on where and how much you cut, and the type of spring it is. ![]() |
