Radiator Fan help
Hey!
My car has an electric fan w/ a turn on/off switch in the cockpit of the car. The problem w/ this is that i tend to have a bad memory. So im extremely scared that im gonna forget to turn it on some day and have the engine overheat. So my question is this: What can i wire the fan up to so that whenever i turn on the car the fan turns on by itself? Thanks! |

No, there's no way. Impossible. Nothing else in the car turns on and off with the key.

To the kid asking, ground the relay inputs, when the key is turned on, so are the fans. Blue/green and orange/blue.

I dont think you want the fans to be on all the time because they will ware out prematurly. I put a thermostatic switch in my coolant to make them turn on at like 160 and off at 180 I think.

You say "use," Russ says "trip," get it now?
Personally, I say keep the switch, that is how mine is... If you have trouble remembering, put a sign saying "turn on the fan, dummy" on the steering wheel or next to the tachometer |
