Just a quick question that I did search for but did not find an Answer....
Is it normal for a 240sx not to start when its left in the hot sun for hours(during work)? :hammer: ....... car starts after its cool or it cools off.. but wont even crank at all when its really hot outside. Sometimes i have to open the hood to let the heat out the engine bay. Then after 30 min it starts right up like nothing. This doesnt happen unless car is left in the hot sun for hours.
I just want to know if any of you guys have had the same problem or maybe my starter is going bad. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Park in the shade? haha that's exactly how my car is too in this 100+ degree Sacramento weather. haha.. but I never have to wait around for it to start. It'll start in 2-4 tries. I dunno but just happens to me if all the agents and clients steal all the damn shaded parking when I get back from lunch.

ok well thanks for the help. The problem is that there is no shade at work at all! and yes i do live in the 100 degree + weather! o well. I guess im just gonna have to live with it.
