s14 high flow cat

as most of you guys know i recently swapped in a RB and the gas smell is finally getting to me. i hoping a cat will help with the smell. i searched around and even went to a exhaust place. the exhaust place says its hard to find a cat so small.
for the s14 guys you guys will know what im saying, our cat is right after the headers on the KA, obviously i dont have that anymore and i was looking around for a cat to fit where my dummy cat goes. all the ones i've found seem to be a little too long compared to the dummy cat. i'd rather not cut my exhaust piping or downpipe and have to reweld flanges and such. if possible i want to buy one i can install myself.
so have any of you S14 guys found a cat to bolt right up to where the dummy cat fits?
all the one's ive seen are for 240's (s13's and s14's) but never specified anything about a dummy cat

thanks for any help

well if you can't find it anywhere with that size and you don't want to cut your dp or exhaust, i guess your only option now is to get a universal cat that fits and weld on the flange yourself.

i never said nothing fit, it seems to me that it might not fit, i was looking at that one, but again i want sure if it would fit in replacement of the S14 dummy cat. i was looking for someone who has put a high flow where the s14 dummy cat sits to make sure. i didnt want to buy something i cant use

thanks for the link anyways, i was planning to give them a call monday to see if they know

if your talking about the little tiny cat on the downpipe, don't worry about it, just toss in a catco high flow where the regular cat goes and call it a day. that is my exhaust. RSR downpipe->catco high flow->GT II exhaust with silencer. that is my setup right now and i have no trouble at all with any smells or defening exhauset note.

not sure what you mean about tiny little cat on dp. i have the 3 inch SS DP from the syko RB install kit. the "regular cat" for me was on the DP of the KA and the dummy cat is what i want to replace, which is after the downpipe not on it. im somewhat confused but if you have a the high flow cat between your DP and GTII then i believe it will work for me too, thanks a lot for clearing it up for me

Catco for the win!

Check e-bay. I bought mine for about $40-50. Then spend $10 to have a muffler shop weld it in.

I know what you're talking about. The cat in the link will work.

It's a 2way cat. Are emissions inspections an issue for you?

Some places, no.
I could here tho. Although it isn't technically legal, I could put a model T engine in. As long as it blew out the tail pipe clean they don't really give a shit.
