figuring out final gear...

i need some help figuring out the final drive on my diff... i bought it from some guy a couple years back and he said it was off a r33 or r32 gts or gtst.... i forgot but iv seen that those skylines have a 4.3 final drive.... but if i take off the rear of the pumpkin and find the number on the final drive how can i tell if its the 4.3? if there is a formula can you guys supply it? thanks for any help..

i need to know because if its the 3.6 or what ever ill put the stock 4.0 one back on....

read the numbes on
should be like 48:11
iirc, just dived 11 and 48

i probably got it backwards but you divide one into th eother and u end up with like 4.36xxx or 4.01xxx depending..

its easy.

thanks dousan... turns out its a 4.3... wo hoo!!! maby he picked up the wrong one a got the ca one..
