sr20det timing

I have tried and tried to get my Sr in time but cant seem to get it just right and I would appreciate any helpful information you guys could give me on how or what to do

if u want - you can download the FSM - it explains its for you. u could just line up the dots on the CAS with the valve cover off - i've done it a few times that way and it always works good. http://69.253.100.102/files/FSMs/JDMS14.pdf

start car, let it warm up, turn it off, unplug TPS, start car, turn the CAS until you line it up with the second mark from the right on the crank pulley. tighten the CAS and turn the car off, plug up the TPS and youre good to go

i tried the whole blinking really fast thing didnt work out as good as i thought it would though

And it's free to boot.

P.S. Use el cheapo timing light from Autozone. A little more expensive than free but it actually works.
