Problem with S13 SR in S14 - batt losing charge

OK, some dude I know wrecked his '98 SE with an S13 SR in it, so he had me come over and swap everything from his '98 into a '95 chassis. I swap everything over and the car starts up and runs just fine. However, now his battery is either messed up or not charging properly, I am not sure which, and I am over 100 miles away so i can't check it very easily.

Are there any differences between the zenki and kouki cars in the wiring that would make this not work properly? If so, what needs to be changed?

thanks in advance guys

i ran into the same problem in the past...there are 3 harness plugs for the lower harness at the engine fuse box...makes sure the black one is seated correctly and also ensure that the alternator has it's ground..power and regulator plugged up

let me know how it goes

redsuns you are a homofag :mamoru:

If I was anywhere close to the car, I probably would have already had this figured out, but doing all this troubleshooting over the phone and through IM's with the owner that is as smart as a box half full of cat hair is quite annoying.

I'll tell him to take a look at the abovementioned things, thanks guys...
