Need HELP, SR swap over problems!!

A friend of mine had a 98 240 with a Redtop SR swap. He wrecked the 98 and bought a 95 to swap over all the parts.

Currently:
The SR is out of the 98 and now in the 95, however it recently has issues. The motor cranks over but there is no spark on the plugs, and there is no injector pulse, also the fuel pump doesn't prime. My thought is that the igniter has gone bad. There is no power going to the wiring on the EEC relay.

I suggested that he buy a premade harness from phase2motortrend and have it put in place of the current harness, that and or replace the ignitor chip.
*it doesn't help that who ever fabbed the harness used red wires for multiple connections*

Greatly appreciate any help that can be given, as in we are trying to figure this out.

well an easy and fast way, though costlier would be to buy a premade harness. but if you search around the net, somewhere there are direction on how to put a redtop into a 95 and they are 100% accurate...i used them when i did my swap and it started perfectly the first time. unfortunatly my computer crashed since then losing the link and the info.

Yeah, I think i'm just going to have him order a harness premade from like phase2motortrend and yank this ghetto rigged one out and trash it, then swap in the made one. If thats not it then I'd say also get a new ignitor chip.

I doubt the ignitor is the issue simply because the ignition is not the only thing that is not working

if you get it to the point that the injectors and fuel pump work and the ignition is still messed then look in the FSM on how to test the ignitor until then though just leave the ignitor alone

He is going to order the harness today, hopefully should be here sometime next week.
Last resort will be replacing the ignitor
