question on hubs?
i got an 89 240sx .. i didnt know that the rotor and hub were conected.. i replaced a stud on the hub.. but i was thinking about putting in a new hub since mine is all rusty .. but i didnt know the rotor and hub came off together like that.. any suggestions? how much would it be if i ordered through nissan for hubs? and how would i go about putting them in? im so lost .. im kinda new to tech..

the s13 has floating rotors. the rotor is separate from the hub and will come off when the caliper assembly is removed. i don't know what car you were working on, but it wasn't an s13.
i've screwed up changing my brakes enough to know lol. |

S13 DOES NOT have floating rotors.
they are not pressed to the hub however, yours are probably rusted on. Hit them with a hammer. I wouldn't bother replacing the hubs for being rusty, instead clean them up with a brown (stripping/surface matching) roll-lock scotch pad on a die grinder.
