redtop idle problem

my redtop doesnt idle well at all. i replaced the iacv and made sure to clean it well before i put it back in. i check my alternator and it seems to be providing power to the battery. it idles fine when i start the car but when i get going and come to a stop it just drops down to where it almost stalls and sometimes it goes back up and other times it just stays at like sub 500 rpm's. somebody told me it might be wiring somewhere but idk. i just wanted to see if others could help me out.
thanks alot
