gt2871r turbine housing

I have a gt2871r .86 a/r but I'm not really happy with the lag. Can I simply swap in a .64 turbine housing? And are there any readily available stock turbos I can grab a .64 housing from that'll fit?

Thanks.

Hey, yeah, I'd definitely be interested in swapping. But since we don't know the condition of each other's turbo, would you be down for just trading turbine housings?

If not, I would. I have the .64 and want a bit more top end.

Damn! That's what you get when you don't check the forums over the weekends! You have dibs, it's only right. On the other hand, I see that the original poster is from Canada. I am half canadian ( family in Newfoundland ), so he should hook his canadian brother up instead of the American swine

I'm in Canada, right by Vancouver, BC. Where are you from? And are you ok with swapping just turbine housings?

Nope, I posted on a few other sites too, and it's confirmed the wheels are indeed the same.

Alright, thanks anyway.

How about you Angel? Are you still interested? I checked shipping on Canada post and it's gonna be around $30 for me to ship via Xpresspost USA (4-5 shipping days) to Florida. I imagine it would be about the same to ship to me via USPS.
