Neutral Position Switch
does anybody know why manual S14's have Neutral position switch? Did nissan have remote start option from factory or something like that ... or is it a fail safe if clutch switch stays in closed position?
main question i have is wether its possible to use that switch in a Remote start system. |

Nissan did not ever offer a remote start. All manual transmission equipped vehicles have a neutral position switch, on some cars it's a safety part to allow starting only in neutral, others like the 240 it just lets the ECU know it's out of gear, has no other purpose and does not affect engine operation.
