z32 assembly and tranny swap...

okay.. well im new to all of this stuff.. but i was wondering about swapping out my four lug to the SE five lug w/z32 brakes/calipers.. and people have been telling me about the lines and stuff like that.. what would i have to do in order to make this assembly fit on my car.. like, line wise..

second.. im swapping out my auto tranny to a 5spd tranny from a 13.. is there any difference from a s13 or s14 tranny?!? cause the motors are the same.. could some please help.?

Um you need to spend a few hours searching...

But to specifically answer your questions...

As far as lines go, you'll need to buy some conversion lines from somewhere like www.projectsilvia.com

And ALL s13/s14 transmissinos are the same, but some sensors are different... and the S14 ones have an extra sensor that your s13 wont have... so you won't be able to hook it up, so you will have a check engine light... but you can ignore it.

OR you can do it the right way, so search. Nothing I say will make sense to you until you either search a buttload or get in there and start working... I speak from experience.

hahahaha he asked about putting a s14 tranny in a S13 and you told him about putting a S13 tranny in a S14. If you stick either tranny in the S13 the only two items that need to be hooked up wire wise is your reverse light and your speed sensor.
Now with that said I am seeing an average of this question about the auto to 5 speed swap popping up around once a week . There is a faq in the archive about the swap. I wrote it several years ago.
Search and you will not only find it but lots more info as well.
