it will fit, requires S13 rear cover swaped over onto the new diff.
not a LSD, but VLSD
need 5bolt (star pattern) axleshafts (J30s or 180sx for those)

Probably been covered 86578652788times too

if you want to leave the diff in the case you wil need to replace the rubber bushuings up towards the yoke with solid ones, also the rear cover will need to be swapped for s13 rear cover. also after replacing the bushings, you will need to source longer mounting bolts for the front mounts, and find some big washers to shim the diff case or else it will hit the subframe. the 300zx diff and case is alot beefier i have it in my car, we dissasembled it before installation and found that the pinion gear is about 1/4 in larger than the s13-
should handle alot more power

swap the rear cover from your open diff onto the rear of the 300zx one.

then get 5 bolt axles, j30 or 300zx

and two 12 mm bolts with 1.25mm pitch same as stock but like an inch longer.

Of course the TT diff won't work in his NA subframe, but he'll figure that out on his own.

OK,
No need to replace bushings, can be done if you want to.
Forgot about the longer bolts - thats true. 80or90mm ones work IIRC
I didn't shim mine and its fine :P But maybe I'm a lucky bastard

or you should just go buy a better diff as you are going to sink a decent amount of cash jury rigging that bad boy on the car.

the money you will spend getting new axles and the cover and this and that, not to mention the subframe issue and the time spent.

i think you woudl be better off getting a nice 1.5 LSD from kazz or qualife or soembody

well if you can find the parts cheap then go for it i am just saying paying a little more takes alot of the hassle away, but in the spirit of good old fashioned tuning it is less fun
