why not get a 5spd. tranny from an S14 SR? Those 6 spd. transmissions on the S15 are really weak. A lot of guys just swap them out for the 5 spd. one.

I think that would be the safest and cheapest way to solve the problem, unless you really want that 6spd. for the "pimp" factor

Well it seems that maybe s15powereds14 has enough money and wants that extra gear? Besides one would assume that a nismo perf kit w/a 6sp would be > stock 5 sp or no?

EDIT:Or he could just be a childish noob, who knows

get a s14 5 speed
problem solved
i know many people pushing 350+ on the stock SR tranny
no problems.
what clutch are you using too? that can blow trannies up faster
the poeple i talked w/ running higher power w/ TD06-20G (L2) turbos run a ORC single plate
twins are known to kill trannies faster

I'm guessing this is what he needs then:
NISMO Heavy Duty Cross Mission Assembly 32010-RRS50
(Gear Sets)
1-6 gears and speedometer gear. Requires S15 SR20DET clutch and flywheel.

¥314,160 = 2,715.18 USD

That's crazy! lol

The other option would be to upgrade to a Z32 trans, then you wouldn't have to worry about the trans anymore.

Fuck that. Even if money was no object to somebody, there is a certain level of stupidity involved with wasting money on something like this. Think about it. The 5 speed is more than tried and proven. The original poster claims to have blown 2 6 sp trannys already, just get a damn 5 speed. Just think how many stock low mileage 5 sp. he could get for the price of just the nismo kit,not even the tranny...haha

Tampa-will the z32 bolt up to the SR20? If it does I imagine its alot stronger > stock SR 5 or 6 sp
