My first question is related to a possible turbo goin bad? Its a redtop with stock turbo. It doesnt smoke under boost, but after I come to a stop say at a red light... It will smoke sometimes, pretty bad, and its deff oil. The motor has been together about 3 weeks now. It has new valve seals and rings, and on top of that it doesnt smoke all the time. So that kinda leads me to think maybe the seals or somethins goin bad in the turbo?

And the second question is... The air bag light is flashin a Code 17, could anyone tell me what that is?

Sounds to me like your seals are going out. My turbo just did the same thing about 2 months ago and had to replace it. Had the same symptoms though. no smoke while boosting or driving but when stopped in traffic it would be smoking pretty bad.

Dont know about that code 17.

Good to know the motor is fine, shitty to know I need to replace the turbo. That was what I thought, that the seals probobly dried out. Oh well. GT2871R When I get money I guess
