Using Altima rotor with Q45 caliper
I did some search on this subject and 98 Altima and Q45 seem to be identical brake rotor except that Q45 has 28mm vs. Altima's 22mm.
That is 3 mm difference on each side of the rotor and I am wondering if this would be safe. Does anyone know how much caliper pistons extend? Can they reach rotor without pads in? Give me your opinions. Thanks. |
