![]() So yeah, my driver's side seatbelt came off of its motor. The motor still moves back and forth when I open and close my door, but I don't know how to get the seatbelt back onto the motor. I've been searching through the forums and all I can find are threads that just tell you to replace it with manual seatbelts.. But I like my seatbelts auto, and I'd rather learn how to fix it if the problem ever persists, instead of having to take it to Nissan every time to fix it.
Anyway, does anyone know how to get the seatbelt onto the motor? It would be of great help. Thanks.

Okay, so I've found the problem, and the solution. The problem is the plastic retracting piece that connects to the thing that slides the seatbelt is f***ed up. The solution is just don't mess with the damn seatbelt motor and take them to Nissan, or just get a new seat belt motor... I should of just listened to all the threads about this.. I had to learn my lesson the hard way by getting my hands dirty in the worlds most annoying grease ever known to mankind. Sh** is impossible to work in unless your willing to completely ruin a perfectly good set of mechanic gloves.. lol
Anyone selling an S13 Driver Side Seatbelt Motor? =]

Or, you go ahead to the dealership and let THEM fix it for free, since seatbelts have a lifetu\ime warranty.
... now you MIGHT have ruined the warranty by trying to be Tim "the tool man" Taylor, but it is still worth a try. |
